Seller Terms
A summary of the terms that apply when you list and sell a ticket on Tixi. This is a condensed version — the complete Terms and Conditions (which also cover general account and platform terms) are available from Tixi's Trust & Safety team on request.
Eligibility to list
Listing requires identity verification tier T3. If the ticket was issued to someone else, listing it also requires their approval through Tixi's owner-authorization link before it goes live.
Obligations by ticket type
Physical: provide a real pickup location and complete the handoff within the 12-hour (or pre-event) window — extendable by 8 hours at a time if the buyer agrees. Missing it can lead to a buyer-initiated cancellation after review, and repeated no-shows may lead to suspension. Confirm the handoff by entering the buyer's code on the order page once you've met. PDF with QR code: upload only the authentic file, and don't reuse the same ticket across listings. QR code via WhatsApp/Email: forward to Tixi, not directly to the buyer, and confirm the forward on the order page.
Payout timing
Tixi deducts a 5% service fee from your asking price — the rest is your payout. Established sellers (3+ completed sales) are paid as soon as the buyer confirms receipt; first-time sellers are paid after Trust & Safety completes a manual release following the dispute window.
Disputes
If a buyer opens a dispute on your order, funds stay held pending review. You'll have a chance to respond before a resolution is reached, and the outcome may go against you if the evidence supports the buyer's claim.
Personal data on your ticket
Tickets often carry personal information. Depending on the issuer, a ticket file can show your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, order reference, and a link to a social media profile — some of it in the file rather than on the visible ticket.
By listing a ticket you confirm that you understand this, and you consent to Tixi passing the ticket, and whatever personal information it contains, to the buyer once the sale completes. If you would rather not share those details, remove or obscure them before uploading, or choose a ticket type that does not carry them.
Tixi does not control what an issuer prints on a ticket and cannot remove it for you. We are not responsible for personal information you choose to upload and pass on, or for what a buyer does with it afterwards. This does not affect the data-protection duties Tixi owes you by law, which we set out in our privacy notice.
Prohibited conduct
No counterfeit, duplicated, already-used, or stolen tickets; no misrepresenting class, section, gender restriction, or delivery type; no asking a buyer to pay outside Tixi's checkout. Violations can lead to listing removal, account suspension, forfeiture of a pending payout, and referral to the relevant authorities for suspected fraud.
